As the summer sun shines brightly, we are reminded of the warmth and hope we strive to provide for the children at Tupelo Children's Mansion. This season brings a lot of activity to our campus, from summer school to youth camps, swimming, and traveling. While summer is filled with fun and play, the summer months are challenging for many nonprofits, and Tupelo Children's Mansion is no exception. Donations tend to slow down, but the needs of our children remain constant. That's why we have our annual Christmas in July appeal. This special fundraising campaign helps us boost cash flow during these lean months, ensuring we can continue providing the essential care and support our children need.

Not only do we have to continue caring for the children who call TCM home, but we have to be able to continue answering the call of these desperately needing hope. In just the past seven days, our intake team has received over a dozen calls and emails from families needing our services. The need for Tupelo Children’s Mansion continues to grow, even in the summer. I’ll share an example with you...

Jennifer's depression and despair kept her from embracing the love her relatives and God so desperately wanted to give. At the age of 15, she attempted to take her own life. Realizing Jennifer needed care beyond their scope, her relatives contacted TCM for placement. Jennifer arrived at TCM broken, but through her relationships with God, the TCM staff, and peers who related to her past, she began to see herself as beautiful, worthwhile, and redeemable. Jennifer not only graduated from high school but pursued a college education. She received the Holy Ghost and became an active member of the church's praise and worship team. 

This story powerfully reminds us of the impact that Tupelo Children's Mansion can have on the lives of children who have faced unimaginable challenges. But none of this would be possible without the support of generous donors like you.
